Reviving Career Enthusiasm: Youths Encouraged To Explore Opportunities
This was during a motivational conference organized on June 25, 2026 in Yaounde.
In a bid to curb youth unemployment in Cameroon, leadership coach, Dr. Tsafack Ghislain Sonffo has urged youths to avoid the blame syndrome and build solutions out of prevailing challenges. The clarion call was made during a motivational conference in Yaounde on June 25, 2026. In his keynote address, Dr. Sonffo, underscored the need for youths to leave their comfort zones and build sustainable careers in desired fields. According to him, “youths should stay focused on their objective and not their challenges.” He added that, resilience and self-employment are the bedrock of sustainable development. Under the theme, “Succeeding Despite Challenges,” Thierry Muteka, a motivational coach, encouraged the participants to adopt the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) development paradigm that foregrounds critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration.
