Fostering Africa’s Emergence : Investors Devise Performance Strategies

Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute chaired the opening of the 46th Permanent Conference of African and French-speaking Consular Chambers in Yaounde on April 4, 2022.


Contributing to the structural transformation of African economies to best meet global demands is at the centre of the 46th Permanent Conference of African and French-speaking Consular Chambers (abbreviated CPCCAF) ongoing in Yaounde. The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute presided at the start of deliberations yesterday April 4, 2022 in the presence of national and foreign investors, members of government and the diplomatic corps. The Conference which holds on a basis of geographical rotation is a platform for business promotion, exchange of experience and expertise for the development of common projects within French-speaking Chambers. About 150 participants including delegations from more than 30 African French-speaking countries are taking part in the business forum. 
The Prime Minister in his opening speech said the get-together offers members the opportunity to be informed on business ventures, share ideas and benefit from the assistance of experts and technical financial partners, all in the development of especially the African private sector and the economic growth of enterprises within French-speaking countries. CPCCAF, Joseph Dion Ngute stated, is thus an essential springboard of not only boosting public-private and private-private partnerships, but is also an avenue of strategic cooperation to effectively respond to the expectations of enterprises.
Cameroon’s relation with CPCCAF, the Prime Minister noted, has stimulated economic growth with Cameroon through the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Craft winning in 2010 the CPCCAF Innovation Price for the Doula Incubation Pilot Centre project in agriculture. Joseph Dion Ngute stated that the missions of CPCCAF are equally in line with government’s actions and orientations fixed by the President of the Republic in the area of international cooperation and in particular amongst French-speaking countries, and...
