Cameroon-China Cooperation: Association Created

It was formed with the objective to further international cooperation between both countries.

In an effort to deepen cooperation ties and parliamentary networking between Cameroon and the People’s Republic of China, an alliance known as the Association for Cooperation and Friendship between the People of Cameroon and China, abbreviated in French as ACAPECC, has been formed.

The platform which seeks the multidimensional development of relations between both countries has as Hon Komba Gaston its President.

In a General Assembly held in Yaounde on November 25, 2017, in which certain dispositions of the association were adopted, the president said they have the fundamental principle of expanding bilateral relations and solidarity between both nations. “The aim of the association is to enhance and further international cooperation ties at all levels especially within the political milieu, safeguard common interest, foster human progress and promote the foreign policy of peace,” he stated.
