Bamenda: CPDM Launches Door-to-Door Campaigns

Regional team leader Philemon Yang has called on the population to vote for the force of experience inherent in their candidate Paul Biya.

Paul Biya's campaign banners flew high on the streets of Bamenda on September 22, 2018, as the CPDM regional team launched campaigns ahead of the October 7 presidential poll.  CPDM regional team leader, Philemon Yang was on hand when divisional, council and local commissions were urged to ensure success for the CPDM candidate by carrying out efficient door-to-door and word of mouth campaigns in the backdrop of the socio-political crisis in the region.

Campaign team members were urged to avoid provocation and display the party's grandeur in all circumstances. The launching ceremony at the Bamenda Congress Hall was marked by a minute of silence for civilians and security forces who have died during the on-going crisis.

Circulars stressing the need for mutual respect and collaboration amongst team members were presented while Mr Yang said Paul Biya is the candidate of the masses who promotes equity, peace, tolerance, stability, unity and development. He stressed the fact that the CPDM is against terrorism, kidnappings, school boycott, killings, amongst others, while urging those to go on the field to be courageous and shun fear.  He reminded all that the CPDM has the highest number of members in both the Senate and National Assembly, thus has a brighter future.
