Yaoundé: Ndifor Thrills Electorate

Clergyman Frankline Ndifor Afawni, affectionately called Prophet Frank by his followers, has met the electorate in Yaounde for the first time ever since he started crisscrossing the national territory to disclose his ambition to rule the country for the next seven years. This was during a campaign rally organized in Yaounde on September 29 by the Cameroon National Citizens Movement, in build up to the upcoming October 7 presidential election.

The candidate held the electorate spellbound for closed to two hours with promises of a better Cameroon. Reverberating rounds of applause interspersed his messages as he thundered generalized accusations on the ruling political class and proposed solutions. “Major positions in government are occupied by old people. They must give the younger generation a chance,” he yelled into the microphone.

The youth who made up a greater part of the crowd responded with a deafening applause. Prophet Frank continued to appeal for support from the youth, noting that he is the youngest candidate in the race for the Unity Palace. “I will eradicate occultist practices in state institutions. Trained and qualified youths are given spiritual conditions to get jobs in certain institutions.
