Kribi Deep Seaport: Dream Come True!

The multipurpose port saw its commercial and operational activities effectively launched on March 02 with several ships already on anchor.

March 02, 2018 was certainly not a good date for doubting Thomases who thought the construction of the Kribi Deep Seaport was a dream. The deep seaport which has the potential of becoming a transport hub for Atlantic coast countries spanning from Senegal to Gabon and landlocked Chad and Central African Republic, is one of the major projects that saw the light of day in 2018 rekindling very high hopes of the country's programmed superlative economic checkered board come the famous 2035. According to Patrice Melom, Director General of the Kribi Ports Authority, The development of an industrial complex around the port will significantly contribute to easing commercial activities, boosting economic growth and creating multiple jobs for the youth. The General Manager affirmed that governm...
