Road, Transportation Problems : Focal Points To Propose Workable Solutions

The focal points of the National Road Board have two months to propose draft laws and texts intended to adequately address the problems.

The seventh series of conferences of Focal Points of the National Road Board (CONAROUTE) started in Yaounde on August 8, 2019 with members called upon to brainstorm and propose solutions in terms of draft bills and texts that government will use to tackle the teething road and transportation problems in the country. They will not only diagnose the situation but more importantly propose salvaging draft laws and texts. 
The Deputy Secretary General at the Prime Minister’s Office, Pascal Nguihe Kante who chaired the opening ceremony of the conferences on behalf of the Secretary General, Séraphin Magloire Fouda, called on the focal points to make proposals that will serve as a reservoir at the level of the Prime Minister’s Office to be used at appropriate moments. The focal points have been partitioned into five Working Groups and each of them has at least four proposals and recommendations to make.
