National culture : “La Bonabérienne” Festival To Promote Living Together

The cultural fiesta will run from the 5 of December 2019 to the 2 of January 2020.
People from the 10 regions of Cameroon living in Bonabéri, Douala IV subdivision in the Littoral region will from December 5th 2019 to January 2, 2020 congregate to show case their cultures. The 29-day event will be a veritable forum for all to savour the culture of the people in Cameroon as a whole. Since Bonabéri is made up of people from different ethnic groups from the 10 regions of Cameroon, la Bonabérienne will go a long way to promote the living together concept. Prior to the event, a press conference was organized by the South West Association for Promotion and Integration (SWAPI) on Saturday 28 of September 2019. During the press conference, the president of SWAPI and chairman of the organization committee of “La Bonabérienne”, Ayuk Benson Mathias said, they are out to support President Paul Biya in the living together concept. He said it is in its first edition and they are doing their best to ensure that it is a success. He was clear that Bonabéri accommodates people from all the 10 regions of Cameroon reason why the festival will have a special touch. “All the people living in Bonabéri will come out to show their culture in terms of food, dances, sports amongst others” he added.
