Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou : Dynamic, Youth Ambassador

The President of the Cameroon National Youth Council, Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou for five days of the national dialogue contributed her ideas for attaining peace in the two English-speaking regions of the country. She was elected into office in April 2018 and was during the Major national dialogue a commissioner to the committee on the role of the diaspora in the crisis and in the country’s development. Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou assisted in plenary debates and the press conference the Prime Minister granted at the end of the national dialogue.
As a member of those who led the delegation to the diaspora to get the proposals of Cameroonians relating to the dialogue, she therefore together with her other commissioners, presented the propositions of those resident out of the country. Speaking to the press after two days of committee deliberations, she noted that she and other participants desire for a more constructive diaspora given that the diaspora is a powerful vector of development for any country. She equally presented the plights of the youths she represent, proposing improvement in certain aspects that directly affect the younger generation.
