African Export-Import Bank For Central Africa : Cameroon To Host Regional Office

This was revealed after an audience at the Ministry of External Relations on October 29, 2019.

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu on October 29, 2019 granted an audience to the Senior Manager and Board Secretariat of the African Export-Import Bank For Central Africa, Gerald Chihota,  during which an agreement was concluded for Cameroon to host the regional office of the aforementioned bank. 
Speaking to reporters after the audience, Gerald Chihota said besides setting up a regional office in Cameroon, the bank intends to spread its presence in the sub region. “The bank has made a decision to set up a branch in central Africa and the decision that has been made is that Yaounde will be the appropriate location for that branch.
