Religion and Hygiene : Archbishop Launches Sanitary Campaign

His Grace Jean Mbarga urged all to be spiritually and physically clean during a sanitary campaign launched on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Mvolye.
It was on a good footing that the official launch of the sanitary campaign dubbed Topo+ which meant that all dirts into the trashcan began. This initiative was instituted by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Yaounde, His Grace Jean Mbarga as a way of enhancing government’s action in the cleaning of towns.
Launched on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Saint John XXIII center Mvolye, the campaign was not only out to ensure cleanliness in the environment but individually as well such that through this others may find peace as the famous saying goes “cleanliness is next to Godliness.” The campaign was launched in line with the year’s Lenten letter which had as major target to seek Jesus in the question, “Jesus, where are you?” The Archbishop reminded all present of God’s 101 titles and urged them to seek God’s face in everything.
Present at this launch were pupils and students from primary and secondary schools who were the main target of the sanitary campaign.
