Drivers Respect The Rules

Taximen, bike riders and drivers of “opep” are all concerned about the pandemic.

“I have a car of fourteen places and on each side of the car, three people should be seated instead of four and five depending on the size of the chairs,’’ said Thierry with a disappointing tone.  “I have never seen it before. That is extraordinary for me and for all the drivers. Carry one person in front and two behind is a total loss for us,’’ replied Pascal, a taxi driver who has been working for more than 15 years. “To have five thousand francs for a day is more painful at this time where things become harder,’’ said Idriss, a bike rider. Those drivers, who have been in the job for long, explained their sadness since the beginning of the pandemic. But knowing the situation and the danger of the disease for them who are exposed more than those who are in-doors, they also took measures and respect preventions to fight against the pandemic. 
Thierry, the driver of the “opep’’ respects the measures of social distancing from the morning to the evening. “I am not like the others who play with the rules. They will see them carry more people than what is ordered in their cars very soon in the morning and start respecting the norms prescribed by the authorities during the day because they have seen security forces all around. It is not easy but we have to make efforts.’’ Apart from it, Thierry has his mask and sometimes his gloves when he is called to carry things behind the car to help the passengers.
