South West : Moslems Render Prayers To End COVID-19

This was as they end 30 days of fasting that summed up to the feast of Ramadan.

Moslem faithfuls in Buea, administrative seat of South West Region, on Sunday May 24, 2020 at the Buea Islamic Complex Central Mosque celebrated the feast of Ramadan. The faithfuls expressed gratitude to Allah to have kept them whole throughout the 30 days of fasting. Respecting one meter social distancing, the faithfuls worshipped inside the mosque and in the courtyard of the Mosque in a bright weather that engulfed the city of Buea. Medics from the Buea Regional Hospital ensured that all worshippers got their temperature taken before they gain access to the prayer ground. 
The Chief Imam of the Buea Central Mosque, His Eminence, Alhadji Mohammed Aboubakar preached from the Holy Qu’ran 51:50 with his message titled “Man, hasten you then at once to Allah.” The cleric said that they are living in a period of uncertainty due to the evil that man has brought upon his society. He decried the new world where a man marries a man, a woman marries woman, and sibling marries sibling. That in the new world incest has become normal and a way of life.
