Protection of Children : Draft Text Under Examination

Some 30 years after decree No 90/524 of March 23, 1990 to create the Commission for the Protection of Children in Moral Danger, Delinquent or Abandoned, the Minister of Social Affairs, Pauline Irene Nguene, says the committee members have failed in their duty to formulate suggestions to the national policy of children protection, prevention and treatment of young people when they fail to cope with the demands of a normal social environment. As such, the second session of the Commission for the Protection of Children in Moral Danger, Delinquents or Abandoned met yesterday November 11, 2020 to revise a draft text relating to the protection of children. The session held on the theme “Revitalization of the National Commission for the Protection of Children in Moral Danger, Delinquent or Abandoned.”
