The Lions’ Hero

The Indomitable Lions kicked-off their AFCON on home soil with a win. Cameroon beat the stallions of Burkina Faso 2-1 thanks to a brace from the spot kick by Captain Vincent Aboubakar. The former Coton Sport of Garoua player scored his first penalty on the 40th minute which leveled the score for both sides.  His second penalty in the additional time of the first half gave the Lion’s an advantage. On his 81st cap with the Lions, Vincent Aboubakar netted his 28th and 29th goals for the national team.  The striker of Al Nasr in the Saudi Arabian championship was the best Cameroonian player all through the match.
