Bafoussam : Security Assured

Any visitor to Bafoussam during the ongoing 33rd edition of the TotalEnergies AFCON will definitely go back home with a good impression on the level of security in Bafoussam. At a time when visitors are in the city for the AFCON tournament, security has been tightened in the city to ensure the safety of people and their properties. The Local Organising Committee has put in place strict security measures before, during and after the competition. The forces of law and order are deployed and ensuring maximum security at the entrances of stadiums, training grounds, hotels of players and delegations for the AFCON. 
At the main entrance to the Bafoussam Omnisports Stadium in Kouekong on January 10, 2022, security officers were seen at first sight. The Armed Forces and Police Officers checked people entering the stadium focusing on health requirements and other aspects that have to do with security until the end of the day one matches in group B. The story is the same in the fan zone in centre of the city.
