Press Review : Match Of The Media

Newspapers nationwide continue to focus on the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with various write-ups on the competition. In yesterday’s edition of these tabloids, emphasis was laid on the performance of the teams, different star players and the general mobilisation of spectators in stadiums; which has been considered grandiose. 
Cameroon Tribune and L’Action newspapers on their front pages saluted the huge mobilisation of spectators in the different stadiums hosting the AFCON games. Both papers talked about the measures of the government to mobilise spectators around the current competition which is greatly yielding fruits. The National Bilingual Daily also carries special reports in what it titles “CAN Tribune.” This is a daily report on the Africa Cup of Nations TotalEnergies 2021. It is a ten-page dossier which carries updates on the competition, live reports of matches as well as reactions of players and coaches. 
Mutations daily newspaper carries a front page article on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon with a flash-back on the good and bad sides of the team’s performance in the first round of the competition.
