Sierra Leone-Equatorial Guinea : Battle For Survival

As from 5 pm on today January 20, 2022, the ocean view Limbe Omnisport Stadium is expected to witness fireworks as Sierra Leone takes on Equatorial Guinea in their final Pool E match. It will be a battle for survival as qualification for the next stage of the competition is still open for both teams. The encounter will be played simultaneously with Côte D’ivoire vs Algeria at the Japoma Stadium in Douala. 
Sierra Leone who sits on two points is facing a must-win situation to move to five points. Their adversary is Equatorial Guinea who earned three points by smashing cup holders, Algeria last Sunday January 16, 2022. Victory will secure their qualification. It will therefore be a battle of survival for both teams.
