Quarterfinals : Indomitable Lions Leave For Douala

This is ahead of their match against Gambia slated for January 29, 2022 in the Japoma stadium.

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon who have played all four matches at the Olembe stadium will be leaving Yaounde for Douala today, January 27, 2022. This will be to continue bracing up for their quarterfinals game against Gambia to be played at the Japoma stadium on January 29, 2022. 
After a day of rest following their victory over the Comoros in the eighth finals, Coach Antonio Conceição and his boys had their first training session to prepare for Gambia yesterday January 26, 2022. The training session took place in closed doors at the stadium of the Mundi sports complex. Before the exercise, they had their usual Covid-19 test.
Though touched by the tragic incident which occurred before their eighth final game, the Lions have to remain focused and take training serious in order to put smiles on the faces of millions of Cameroonians who are looking up to them. With Zambo Anguissa not eligible to play the quarterfinal game after receiving two yellow cards in two successive matches, Coach Antonio Conceição will therefore be looking for a better replacement to coordinate this compartment.
