ASMAC Erects Media Stand

As a way of encouraging the efforts of the students, the Rector of the University of Yaounde II paid a visit to the institution on Friday February 4, 2022.
Hosting the African Cup of Nations is a dream of every youth on the continent. Cameroon last hosted the competition in 1972. With such an opportunity coming to Cameroon 50 years after, journalism students of The Advanced School of Mass Communication (ASMAC), Yaounde decided to put theory into practice through the production of a daily newspaper called “Mur de CAN” and radio programmes on the campus radio. The goal is to enable the younger generation live every moment of the competition. As a way of encouraging the work done by the students the Rector of the University of Yaounde II, Prof. Adolphe Minkoa She, visited the media stand in the campus of ASMAC on Friday February 4, 2022.
Speaking to journalists, Prof. Adolphe Minkoa She said this exercise shows that the school is ready to keep on developing the skills of the learning. The Director of ASMAC, Prof. Alice Nga Minkala said the exercise is aimed at preparing the students for task they will face on the field.
