Book Launch: Future of Energy Hits The Stands

A book on the subject written by Ashu Desmond was recently launched in Douala.

A new book, titled “Future of Oil and the Energy Industry” is presently available on bookstands and shelves in Cameroon. The book written by 35-year-old Ashu Desmond Partrickson Ewube has come to simplify the mystery behind the energy sector. It was also written to make people to understand that crude oil is not just for the petroleum sector but understanding energy is for everyone. Going through the eleven chapters of the book, in very simple terms, the author did explain that energy is the building block of our society and nothing can be done without energy.

He however underscored that the energy sector is facing a lot of competition but made it clear that Cameroon has a lot of oil that is yet to be exploited. He debunked claims that oil has reduced in Cameroon by stating that Cameroon just needs to develop new technologies to exploit the oil sector. According to the author, energy is available. It just keeps changing faces as new energy sources have not replaced old ones.
