Social Media Information: Youths Drilled On The Dangers

Youths in the West region and those in Bafoussam in particular have been told not to associate themselves with untreated information published on social media. The youths were informed that some publications on Facebook, WhatsApp and other online platforms were frustrating and aimed at marginalizing public interest. The appeal was made by the Regional Delegate of Youths and Civic education for the West, Apouwo  Ndea  Samuel, while opening a one-day conference last 9 February 2022 on the “Danger of information tapped on social media”, and  organized by  “Centre communuataire de la jeunesse de la Mifi" (CCJM). The conference was organized for youths drawn from public and private colleges in Mifi division of the West region.
The conference that was coordinated by the Director of CCJM, Ngubdia Samuel had as resource persons, Nsangou Arouna, of MINJEC, Messi Atanga Innocent Paul and Mbulle Melle Hippolyte, experst on social security from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication.
