Cameroon Bloggers Association : New Executives Take Service

Although their activities hardly find substantial funding or adverts to support their routine functioning, the bloggers strive altogether on goodwill gestures.

The media landscape in Cameroon enjoys a good number of digital contents by bloggers either as groups or mostly individuals. Just at a click it is enough to be abreast with latest happenings around the world owed to the incredible work that bloggers do.
Although their activities hardly find funding or adverts to support their routine functioning, the bloggers strive altogether on goodwill gestures. With these, bloggers met in Yaounde in 2019 and set up an association called Cameroon Bloggers Association (CBA) with the objective of bringing together all local bloggers, seek avenues to sharpen their blogging and journalistic skills, encourage more support from partners, improve their knowledge and practice of ethics through various workshops, summits and training sessions.
All these are just a portion of the duties assigned the new executive bureau that was elected in December 18, 20201 in Douala which took service and presented to the media in Douala during a ceremony in Bonapriso on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
