Tardine Celestine : Taking Jesting To Another Dimension

Dorcas, is a rising comedian in Buea in the South West Region. The comedian is steadily proving unstoppable in the art of jesting. “She” was among the three comedians on Sunday March 27, 2022, at the Buea Mountain Hotel Night Club that held spectators spellbound in laughter. Dorcas is visually identified from “her” bluish gown, yellow food flask, blue slippers worn with white socks and “her” excessive makeup. “She” makes fun on real life stories and events. In July 2021, Dorcas won the New Revelation Award prize in Yaounde. “She” has countless comedy episodes to her credit.
The journey into comedy world began like a child’s play. Having spoken with friends and amused them one of them remarked that Dorcas should have a second thought about taking comedy as a career. That is how Dorcas embraced comedy. “Idid not just want to do the type of comedy that everyone is already doing. I opted to bring in something new and different. So I decided to take the part of cross dressing comedian,” Dorcas explained. Dorcas is merely a newcomer into comedy having started the arts on March 4, 2021. 
The person behind the character Dorcas is Tardine Celestine Suinyuy born on June 27, 1996 in Kovifirm Village in Nso Fondom in the North West Region.
