Women’s empowerment : Inspiring Young Girls to attain Full potential

This was during the Inspir’Talks program that took place in Douala from the 8 to 9 of April.

Most often societal attributes and barriers prevent some women from attaining their full potential. More and more women have been unable to get employment because some jobs are said to be for men only. Against this backdrop, young girls have been urged to raise up and take up the challenge to realize their dreams. This was during the Inspir’Talks programme organised by the Inspire Afrika Magazine. The event which is in its 10th edition took place in Best Western Hotel in Douala from the 8 to 9 of April 2022. Inspir’Talks seeks to inspire young women and girls to take up challenges and pursue their dreams without fear. It is also aimed at creating a space for networking. 
For two days young women from all walks of life took part in different workshops on different thematics, they also listen to inspirational speakers who gave them every reason to raise against societal beliefs and chase their professional dreams. According to the Co-founder and editor in chief of the Inspire Afrika Magazine Joan Murielle Yombo, their main objective was to portray female leadership.  She said they wanted to showcase great female entrepreneurs.
