MTN Elite One : Canon-Fauve Azur Clash In Douala

Some delayed day eight matches and advanced day nine matches will take place today in stadiums across the country.

The national Elite One championship goes back into action today, Wednesday April 20, 2022 in stadiums across the country.  The top match of the day will be the clash between Canon of Yaounde and Fauve Azur of Yaounde. The two Yaounde-based clubs will face each other at the Reunification Stadium in Bepanda, Douala.  Canon Yaounde will be out to regain their top position after they lost it to Astres of Douala. Fauve Azur who are on the fifth spot will be leaving nothing to chance in order to improve their position on the league table. Still at the Bepanda Stadium, AS Fortuna will take on Stade Renard. At the Japoma Annex Stadium, APEJES of Mfou will clash with bottom-placed TKC of Yaounde. Tonnere Kalara Club is yet to score a point this season and their goal will be to grab the three points of the day. 
At the Yaounde site, Colombe of Dja and Lobo will play against Racing Bafoussam at the Ngoa Ekelle Stadium. and Panthere of Nde will take on YOSA of Bamenda in the same venue. Union Sportif of Douala will clash with Djiko FC of Bandjoun at the Annex B of the Olembe Stadium. At the Limbe Omnisports Stadium, Dragon Yaounde will play against OFTA of Kribi and PWD Bamenda will clash with Renaissance of Ngoumou. At the Middle Farms Stadium, Bamboutos will face Coton Sport of Garoua. In Bafoussam, New Stars of Douala will play against UMS Loum at the Bamendzi Municipals Stadium, Avion Academy will take on YAFOOT at the Fotso Victor Stadium in Bandjoun and Fovu will face Eding Sport at the Mbouda Municipal Stadium. Les Astres FC of Douala are exempt.
