Elite One Championship : Several Clubs Threatened With Relegation

The decision was taken by the Homologation and Discipline Committee of the FECAFOOT on Friday April 22, 2022.

Several clubs of the Elite One championship have been threatened with relegation to the Elite Two championship. The decision was taken by the Homologation and Discipline Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) on April 22, 2022. The teams that have been sanctioned are Union Sportive of Douala, UMS of Loum, Unisport Bafang, Tonnerre Kalara Club, Aigle Royal and Avion Academy. The clubs have been sanctioned with final fines in different cases and as such these clubs are being threatened with relegation to the Elite Two championship. 
Union Douala faces financial sanction and relegation threats for the nonpayment of salaries of the player Eock II Joseph Bruno. The club has to pay a fine of FCFA 300,000 for non-respect of the decision of the CFHD of FECAFOOT. In the case between Bedime Dikombwe Thierry against Unisport of Upper Nkam, the club was sanctioned with a fine of FCFA 200, 000 for non-respect of the decision of the National Chamber for the Resolution of Dispute (CNRL) of FECAFOOT. In the case Ndomo Pierre Franck against Tonnerre Kalara Club the club has to pay the sum of FCFA 200, 000 for non-respect of the CNRL and at the same time threatened with relegation.
