Douala : Military Launches Feast of National Unity

Uniform men and women in Douala turned out in their numbers for a series of leisure activities whose aim was to launch the 50th edition of the feast of National Unity coming up on May 20, 2022 and to add force and liveliness to the existing collaboration between the population and defence and security forces on May 7, 2022.
The uniform men and women comprise the army, gendarmerie, marine, fire fighters, police, forestry and wildlife officials, customs and the penitentiary administration. They thrilled the population through football matches, cross country sports and tug of war that was overseen by the Chief of Cabinet in the Littoral Governor's Office.
The 10 kilometre cross country sports took them from Bonateki bridge through Salle des fetes in Akwa to Koumassi and then the Roundabout at Youpwe under the supervision of General Benoit Eba Eba of the Second Military Region and General Elias Toungue of the Second Ge...
