Gospel Concert : Choristers Sing For Unity, Peace

This was during the first Christian Festival of Arts and Culture organised in Yaounde from the 28 to 29 May, 2022.

“Cameroonians, citizens of God, rise up! Cameroonians adore Jesus Christ. The Lord Almighty is concerned about the nation Cameroon! Cameroonians kneel down before God Almighty and worship Him. God is capable to bring peace in the nation in its fullness.” These are some of the messages echoed by gospel choristers from all the ten regions of the country during a gospel concert on Sunday May 29, 2022 at the esplanade of the National museum in Yaounde. Organised by the Gospel Family Singers, the first Christian Festival of Arts and Culture, aimed at uniting Cameroonians through religious music under the theme, “A Nation United in Its Diversity.” The festival was organised under the patronage of the Minister of Arts and Culture with focus on letting the Glory of God to be seen in a united and peaceful Cameroon. 
The heavy downfall before the start of the concert did not deter people from attending the show. Even under the heavy rain, individuals made their way into the National Museum to call for unity and peace through singing. Choristers grouped under the Gospel Family Singers began the show with songs of praise, peace, adoration and gratitude to God Almighty.  
Some of the gospel artists such as Lucid from the South Region, Nady Shine from the Centre Region, Hope in Christ from the South West Region, Tya La Grace from the West Region, Mpondo Philip from the Littoral Region as well as Marcel Amou from the East Region all raised their voices to God for the sake of peace and unity in Cameroon.
