Regina Mundi : Abducted Senator Free At Last

North West Governor, Military Chiefs and family on May 31, 2022 received her and others from captivity to the joy of the population who praised the defence forces for their bravery.

Thirty days after the abduction on April 30, 2022, C.T has been told that the liberation of Senator Regina Mundi was carefully and tactfully planned, rehearsed and delivered on the night of May 30, 2022 by elements of the Defence and Security forces during a Special Operation in a separatist camp in the neighbourhood of Ashong, Batibo Subdivision
The clocks stroke 1.30 pm on May 31, 2022 when North West Governor, Adolphe Lele Lafrique, the Commanders of the 5th Joint Military and Gendarmerie Regions, Brigadiers General, Nka Valere, Ekongwese Divine and family members received the Senator and other hostages at the Military Base in Bafut. The stakes were high, emotions evident and joy was complete when the Military Aircraft that airlifted them from Batibo jerked to a stop.
