Transforming Iron and Steel : Minister Encourages Process

The Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, Gabriel Dodo Ndoke has appreciated the work done by Prometal in the transformation of Iron and steel in Cameroon. The Minister was speaking in Douala on June 13 while visiting the industry to see for himself how the transformation is being done.
During the visit, the Minister was pleased with the level of professionalism and said the company is working in line with government’s agenda to develop the Iron and Steel sector in Cameroon. He added that their activities has gone a long way to help in the reduction of importation of Iron and steel in Cameroon. He urged the management of the iron and steel company to continue in the same spirit while employing more Cameroonians. It was also an opportunity of Minister Gabriel Dodo Ndoke to award the medal of the Cameroon Officer of the Order of Valour to the General Manager of Prometal.
