SDF : Barrister Djomgang Is Adeline New Secretary General

New blood has been injected into the National Executive Committee (NEC), General Secretariat and Shadow Cabinet of the opposition Social Democratic Front (SDF). 
The decisions signed by the National Chairman, John Fru Ndi co-opting new members of NEC, appointing officials of the General Secretariat from the post of Secretary General right down to that of fourth Deputy Secretary General and another decision designating heads of the Standing Committees of the Shadow Cabinet were made public during the press conference, John Fru Ndi granted at his Nkolfoulou residence in the outskirts of Yaounde on June 16, 2022. The General Secretariat of the SDF is greatly reinvigorated with Barrister Djomgang Adeline Lord taking over from Senator Jean Tsomelou as the new Secretary General. Senator Jean Tsomelou has moved to the Shadow Cabinet and occupies the post of President of the Agriculture and Rural Development Standing Committee. Concerning the National Executive Committee, Dr Haoua Madeleine was co-opted as the fourth National Vice Chairman, while some officials were co-opted to other structures.
Talking during the press conference, Chairman Fru Ndi said, the decisions were to replace vacancies and to beef up the management structures of the party. He explained that the days ahead were full of uncertainty and challenges, stating that the decisions taken were to prepare the party for such challenges.
