Star Building : Review Of IMF Programme With Cameroon Discussed

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute on June 17, 2022 had discussions with members of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB) and African Development Bank (AfDB) mission who came to brief him on the ongoing second review of the IMF Programme with Cameroon.
The delegation leader, Amadou Sy  told the press after their discussions with the Prime Minister that, “I like to clarify that we are here within the  context of the second review of the IMF Programme  with Cameroon.” As to the real work being done, he said, “Basically, as usual, we are going through the macroeconomic framework, comparing notes and finalising our models and framework.” He added that, “We will discuss policy options with the authorities. Our approach here this time will be to show them a menu and we hope to do that in the coming days.”
