Men’s Senior Handball African Nations Cup : Lions Train In Tunisia

Some 22 players are presently fine-tuning their skills ahead of the competition that kicks off on July 11, 2022 in Egypt.

Less than two weeks to the 25th edition of the Men’s Senior Handball Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, preparations have intensified in the national men’s handball team. The players are presently in Tunisia where they are fine-tuning their skills ahead of the competition. Precisely, the group is training in the town of Nabeul and the players and the coach are working out winning strategies in order to ensure an honourable performance in the competition. The handball Lions left the country for Tunisia on June 22, 2022. 
As part of preparations, the handball Lions will play friendly matches with some clubs in the Tunisian championship. Cameroon played a friendly match against Union Sportive of Temmime on Saturday June 25, 2022. The head coach Simon Menguede said the match was the first international match for the team since January 2022. He said the match enabled the technical staff to evaluate the level of preparations of the team. He said despite Cameroon’s victory (31-20), the group is conscious of the fact that there are many adjustments to be made before the competition. The competition will kick off on July 11, 2022.
