Group B : Cameroon, Tunisia To Meet Expectations

The two teams are working tooth and nail with the hope of doing better this year then in previous editions.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon are not new in the competition. Ranked 52 on FIFA Ranking Cameroon the Lionesses have never missed any edition of the competition. The Lionesses qualification for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations was noteworthy as they won all their matches. Having had an experience in the competition, much is expected from the Lionesses. The Lionesses are finalising their preparations in France before heading for Morocco. The presence of top strikers like team captain Gabriel Aboudi Onguene will add more impetus to the team. Cameroon has a bunch of experienced players even though there are some new comers. Cameroon finished third in the last edition of the tournament in 2018, but the Lionesses have expressed their desire to go beyond their personal best of runners-up in 2014 and 2016. 
The Copper Queens of Zambia are going to the Africa Cup of Nations for the third time. Ranked 103 on the FIFA Ranking, the Copper Queens edged past Malawi and Namibia to grab their ticket for the women’s AFCON. The coach, Bruce Mwape, guided the team to a maiden Olympic qualification in 2020 and now is hoping to surpass his 2018 semifinals feat in a bid to make another history, clinching a first ever Women's World Cup ticket.
