Training : Lionesses Make Final Touches

At press time yesterday, the Cameroonian team was having a friendly match in France against a French club called ASS Sarcelles.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon are concluding preparations ahead of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations which begins on Saturday July 2, 2022 in Morocco. In a bid to know their strength and correct their weaknesses, Coach Gabriel Zabo has so far prioritised friendly matches. At press time yesterday, June 28, 2022, the Cameroonian team was playing another friendly against a French club known as ASS Sarcelles. This friendly comes after the Lionesses had been beaten 4-0 by the French senior women’s national team. Counting the yesterday’s game against the French club, the Indomitable Lionesses have taken four friendlies so far in preparation for the continental showpiece.
Before yesterday’s friendly match, the Indomitable Lionesses had a training session on June 27, 2022 at Stade Goussainville Paris. The match against the French club was definitely an opportunity for Coach Gabriel Zabo to see if the corrections made after the game against France have been inculcated by his girls. The attack and most especially the midfield are compartments that coach Zabo is expecting to see changes and more concentration.
