Cameroon Democratic Union : Smooth Conduct Of Renewing Of Basic Organs

This was one of the recommendations of the party’s national convention that took place in Yaounde in October 2021.


The Cameroon Democratic Union (CDU) officials are on the field implementing the renewal of the party’s basic organs which was one of the resolutions and recommendations of the seventh national convention that took place in the Yaounde Conference Centre from October 28-29, 2021. 
During the elective convention, Hon. Patricia Tomaino Ndam Njoya was elected the National President of the Cameroon Democratic Union. It was therefore decided during the convention that the party’s basic organs had to be renewed nationwide to align with the changes at the helm, fill vacancies created by officials who had departed to the world beyond thereby reinvigorating the party. The renewal operation has therefore rumbled off. One of the CDU senior official, Hon. Koupit Adamou told Cameroon Tribune that the operation is going on smoothly. He said that before the commencement of the operation, explanatory notes were forwarded to grassroots officials to prepare them on the procedure. Hon. Koupit Adamou disclosed that as at early June 2022, the renewal operation has successfully been carried out in the Noun, Mifi and Bamboutos Divisions all in the West Region. He said that the programme for the operation in the other localities will soon be communicated.
The renewal of the basic organs of the Cameroon Democratic Union is taking place at the time the party is witnessing serenity, calm and harmony. Hon.
