Holiday Jobs : Douala II Recruits 267

The young people are expected to work in the different services of the council as well as ensure hygiene and sanitation within the municipality.

The Douala II Council will keep youths within the municipality busy during the holiday period. Reasons why it has recruited some 267 young people to work within the municipality for close to two months. The young people will work in the different services of the council as well as street cleaning.
While launching the holiday job campaign on July 11, 2022, the Mayor of the Douala II council Denise Fampou called on the young people to be diligent in the exercise of their duty. She said while at the 13th edition, the Douala II council is determined to keep youths gainfully busy which will go a long way to assist parents with school needs. She said they received over 3,000 applications but selected 267 as such, she called on the selected candidates to take the job seriously and work for the good of the Douala II municipality and Cameroon as a whole. She said the job has been divided into three phases and each phase will last for two weeks.
