Industrial / Technological Development : MINMIDT Concerts With Private Sector

The Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development (MINMIDT), Gabriel Dodo Ndoke, has rounded off a one-day visit to Douala which was aimed to spur up discussion prior to the visit of the Director General of the he United Nations Industrial Development Organization – UNIDO.
While in Douala on Friday, July 22, the Minister met with industrial stakeholders in the private sector so as to come out with possible contributions for collaboration.
Minister Gabriel Dodo Ndoke explained that the private sector cannot be exempted from the development of a country reasons why their suggestion and contributions were important for better collaboration. He added that prior to the visit of the Director General of UNIDO it was imperative to brainstorm with the private sector so that the government will use it to work on concrete cooperation ties with UNIDO. He added that the president of the chamber of commerce has been charged to continue receiving suggestions from the private sector.
