Micro Finance Management : Managers Upgrade Skills

This was during a two-day training workshop organised in Douala from the 22-23 July, 2022.

Chief of agencies and managers of microfinance institutions in Douala have been drilled on better ways to improve on their services and better serve clients. This was during a two-day workshop organized in Douala from the 22-23 July, 2022. The objectives of the training were to ensure that the different bank leaders master the levers of their organization and management of its agency, maintain an optimal level of profitability to control the risks while maintaining a low level of payments on the credit portfolio, and ensure a good social climate at the jobsite. The training that brought together over 40 microfinance heads from 15 institutions was also out to put them on the right footing with the changing times.

According to the main trainer, David Kengne, the training came at a time when microfinance institution needs to be up to date with the ever-changing times. He said they want to avoid the situation whereby microfinance is shut down because they are lacking in one way or the other.
