Security Threats : Governor Calls For Increased Public Collaboration

He clarified media on the resolutions that were taken at the end of a meeting of all regional Governors in Yaounde recently.

The Governor of the Littoral Region has called on the population of his jurisdiction to more and more denounce all acts of insecurity that jeopardize their lives and property. Samuel Dieudonne Ivaha Diboua, who was speaking during a meeting with newsmen in the Governor's Meeting Hall on Thursday, August 18, 2022, said denouncing such activities by lawless individuals goes a long way to put an end to them. He said such information from the public has been helping the forces of law and order to curtail crimes and lawless activities in Douala.
The purpose of the meeting, the Governor said, was to exchange with media the resolutions and recommendations of the meeting of Regional Governors that recently held in Yaounde to assess the state of affairs in the ten regions of the country in the past six months which was presided over by the Minister of Territorial Administration under the high instructions of the Head of State. 
After reading out the resolutions and recommendations that were taken (excluding those that were made behind closed doors), the media asked questions and received clarity and highlights especially on issues concerning the Littoral Region.
