Autonomous Sinking Fund Head Office : Prime Minister Tours Majestic Structure

Joseph Dion Ngute visited and was presented with the specificities of the building after its inauguration on August 24, 2022.

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute embarked on a guided tour at the headquarters of the Autonomous Sinking Fund on August 24, 2022 shortly after he inaugurated the magnificent structure on behalf of the Head of State. Constructed on a surface area of 5,964 m2 in an L-shaped form, the Prime Minister noted that three aspects about the architectural jewel draw his attention. The edifice, Joseph Dion Ngute said, is a representation of modernisation, changes the physiology of the political capital and contributes in improving the working conditions of staff. He adds that it falls in line with the emergence policy of the President of the Republic which consist of making Cameroon a modern society with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The Prime Minister used the opportunity to congratulate those who participated in the realisation of the said structure. 
Adjoining the Cameroon Telecommunications headquarters in Yaounde, the entrance of the building, where the Prime Minister started his tour has three interlocking staircases which leads one to the reception hall. At the entry point is a giant Covid-19 dispenser for the screening of persons, which ushers one to a reception hall with a spacious waiting space beautifully adorned and features a photographic display and a flat screen TV. 
Indeed, the Prime Minister was marvelled at the unique characteristics of the twelve storey building which has three underground floors with a parking space that can accommodate about 169 cars. Its corridors are spacious and has four lifts that can put up with eight persons. The building also has a 300 capacity conference room equipped with an innovative teleconference and simultaneous translation system that permits for intellectual meetings.
