School Resumption : Parents clamor for Registration

They have been scouting from one school to the other to get their children enrolled.

It is that time of the year that parents scrambled to register their children. The admission procedure is easy for some while it’s a difficult task for others. While some parents have decided to register their children in public schools others have chosen private and religious institutions. For parents in government schools, they have to register the children before going to pay in the bank or a money transfer agency. But for those in some private schools, pay directly in the school.
For Mr. Fokala Roland it has been a challenging moment for him as his first son is going to secondary school. He said he wanted his son to attend a private school since it wasn’t far from the house. “When I got to the school this morning I received a form which I fill out with information that helps the school keep track and take care of the child.  I also gave a photocopy of his birth certificate and other requirements. After which I paid his fees and proceeded in buying his uniforms and other items that were sold in school”. He said he had to go to the book shop to buy his books and other school needs. Mr. Fokala Roland, said his children will attend school not far from his house. He said he will proceed with the registration process of those in primary school within the week.
