Cameroon-France Friendship Celebrated

The Civil Cabinet has published a Special Edition of its magazine for August 2022 dedicated to celebrating friendship between Cameroon and France.

The Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon has published the August 2022 Special Edition of its bilingual news magazine, “Le Temps des opportunités” dedicated essentially to the growing relations between Cameroon and France.
The publication follows the official visit of the French President Emmanuel Macron to Cameroon from July 25 to 27, 2022. The front page of the 124-page publication titled “Cameroon-France: Friendship Solidarity” already prepared the stage to the rest of the magazine. Then comes a quotation from President Paul Biya’s book “Communal Liberation” (2018 edition) in which the Head of State talks of the advent of the new economic order whose pillar will be the preservation of economic independence and stressed that for “For solidarity we wish to see among peoples of the world will be the solidarity of people enjoying freedom and dignity.” The publisher of the news magazine, Minister, Director of the Civil Cabinet, Samuel Mvondo Ayolo in the editorial entitled, “Long-standing friendship, reaffirmed sovereignty,” continues to hail the Cameroon-France cooperation. Before that, in the slot; Once upon a time, focus is on the visit of the French President François Mitterrand to Cameroon on June 20, 1983, less than a year when  President Biya got to power on November 6, 1982.
The main part of the publication is dedicated to the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Cameroon which coincidentally is his first visit to Africa after his re-election. The dossier of the publication that covers pages 8 to 39 is reserved for the visit. The different aspects of the visit presented include the publication of the declarations of the two Heads of State during the Unity Palace press conference and the question and answer session with the press. The visit of President Emmanuel Macron in photos covers pages 22 to 39.
Some two pages of the magazine centre on  President Biya’s diplomatic activities that included the audience he granted to the outgone Ambassador of the Kingdom of  Spain to Cameroon, Ramon Maria Moreno Gonzalez on August 9, 2022 and the outgone Special Representative of the Unit...
