Financial Market : Public Sensitised On How To Invest

Many people have used the World Investors Week in CEMAC this week to learn the role and importance of engaging in bond trading.

The general public including students, investors and brokerage companies are exchanging in view of gaining more knowledge on the advantages of investing in the financial market. The exchanges which runs from October 6-7, 2022 at the Central African Stock Exchange in Douala (BVMAC) is a part of activities to mark the World Investors Week in CEMAC.
The Week, which is in its second edition this year, is organised by the Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (COSUMAF) under the theme “Investors resilience and sustainable finance” started on October 3, 2022 and ends on October 9, 2022.
The open door days kicked off with an enthusiastic turned out from investors, students and general public, in their turns, they visited the stands of the different brokerage companies in the financial market and took stock of their various services and activities. After they were shown the different services hosted by the regional stock exchange in Douala, the Director General of the Central African Stock Exchange, Louis Banga Ntolo, gave a presentation of the Central African Stock Exchange. During the presentation, he called on them to become more interested in investing in the financial market.
