Union Sportive Raises FCFA 10 Million

36 players have been retained for the new football season, which starts on October 15, 2022.

Some FCFA 10 million has been raised in cash and pledges during the ordinary general assembly of Union Sportive of Douala. The amount was raised as a part of FCFA 187 million budget that was also adopted for the year 2023 by the club’s general assembly that held at the municipal hall in New Bell on Sunday, October 9, 2022. 
The club is gearing up to win the championship and the cup of Cameroon. Last season, the club performed well featuring on the fourth position in its group in the competition. Their first match in the new season will be played against Astres of Douala at the Bepanda Reunification Stadium on October 15, 2022. Players retained for the new season include 12 attakers, 11 defenders, 9 midfielders, and four goalkeepers.
