Djomaha Fassi Pierre : Honours To Fallen Police Commissioner

The retired senior police staff who died on September 10, 2022 was celebrated on October 13 in Yaounde.


The mortal remains of retired Police Commissioner, Djomaha Fassi Pierre, who died on September 10, 2022 at the General Hospital in Yaoude, was removed from the mortuary in Yaounde on Thursday October 13, 2022. The Centre Regional Delegate for National Security, Police Commissioner Didier Ngah, represented the Delegate General for National Security at the event on October 13, 2022 during a ceremony at the esplanade of the National Police School in Yaounde which honoured the retired police staff.
The flag of the country was draped over the coffin of late Djomaha Fassi Pierre on a cart in a brief ceremony which was marked by a mourning police procession, honorary salute from former colleagues, accompanied by the funeral hymn from muffled drum sound. Before presenting the condolence message from the Delegate General for National Security to the bereaved family, Didier Ngah prostrated in front of the coffin of the departed police commissioner.
The retired Police Commissioner was born around 1955 in Fombele in Bafang. He began his career in 1983 when he was appointed Student Commissioner of Police.
