2022 Handball Championship Playoff : FAP Women Sail To Final

The Yaounde-based club currently tops the classification table with four points after winning two matches played so far in the competition which began on October 16, 2022 in Yaounde.


With one playing day still left in the group phase of the playoff of the 2022 National handball championship, FAP women are already sure of making it to the final. This was after winning all two matches played so far and topping the classification table with four points in the competition which began in the Mfandena gymnasium in Yaounde on October 16, 2022. The last playing day billed for today October 19, 2022 at the Mfandena gymnasium will be mainly aimed at determining the second candidate for the final in the women’s category and the two candidates in the men’s category that is still open.
In the women’s category, FAP will play FANZ handball club of Yaounde; another potential candidate for the final that occupies the second position with three points. It will definitely be a battle for supremacy. FANZ will be struggling to win or get a draw that will help them secure a place in the final. This is because, their direct followers, TKC has just one point. If TKC wins their last match against Dynamique of Bokito (zero points) today, they can only climb up to three points. In all, even if FANZ wins FAP, they will lead with five points and FAP will go down to the second position with four points. If TKC wins, they can only climb up to three points and FAP remains safe.
