Cameroon-Gambia : High Commissioner Hands Diplomatic Documents

Mohamadou Musa Njie was received in audience by Minister Felix Mbayu on October 20, 2022.

Gambia’s High Commissioner to Cameroon with residence in Abuja, Nigeria, Mohamadou Musa Njie, has presented his accreditation documents at the Ministry of External Relations. This was during an audience accorded him by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu on October 20, 2022. Accredited to 13 other African countries, Njie Musa is also the Permanent Representative of Gambia to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). 
Going by his educational career, Mohamadou Musa Njie has a Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of London, United Kingdom, acquired in 1994 after a post-graduate diploma from the same institution in the aforementioned discipline. 
Prior to his appointment, the Gambian High Commissioner was into politics, participating in the March 2018 mayoral elections in Gambia as first-time independent candidate at the Kanifing Municipal Council. He came third after he successfully defeated most of the established political parties with a history of over 22 years in politics.
