Louis Van Gaal : Back For Business

At 71, the Dutchman is in his third spell as boss of the national side and hopes to create a stronger impact in 2022.

Netherlands will be going into the World Cup not only with a host of star players but with a trainer that is a true definition of experience. Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal will be leading the technical bench of the Oranje to the competition. He is not a novice as he is at his third spell with Netherlands after having previously taken charge of the team between 2000-2002 and 2012-2014. He took the team to the 2014 World Cup but could not guide them past Argentina in the semi-finals, though with his side eventually beating Brazil 3-0 in the third place play-off. 
Van Gaal returns in 2021, inheriting a relatively weak squad from his predecessor De Boer but took it as a challenge.
